Hello,
Have 2 Hyundai Elantra 2010 ; time to do the timing belt replacement.
Bought a GATES kit ( tensioner, idler and belt)
Installed tensioner as per manual (engine cold on TDC, 6 mmkex turning the pointer as per arrow in the window, torqued central bolt to 20 ft-pound, manually rotate one more time to TDC, pointer in window)

Issue is , after I drive 1 day , pointer moves clockwise about 10 mm and stays there. When engine cools , I can push it back to the window (will not go past the window)
I am on the second tensioner with this issue.

On second car (due to a change) , the OEM tensioner pointer is dead on the window for 7 years now.
